Indian parents will never understand that IITs are not the best. Indian parents think that the highest extent what their offsprings can achieve is IITs. In course of this misconceptions they spend a huge amount of money on coaching and schooling. In most of the cases, student takes discipline which is not of their interest. Which ultimately leads to a depressed engineer, whose interest was never that discipline whose degree he is holding.
Parents forget that IITs stands nowhere in the world rankings of universities. Their attempt should be to encouraged their children to take branch of their interest, even if they cannot get a seat in IITs.
Everybody knows, IITs are world famous not because of their research but because of the difficulty of their entrance exams.
After four years of graduation, IITs doesn’t matter at all. Most of the top universities in the world have their online lectures whose quality is far more better and advanced than the lectures in IITs. So If a student uses these resources efficiently then it is not a big deal to surpass the IITians.
Life gives you multiple opportunities to prove yourself. Always remember, no defeat is final.
